My favorite dining in Jackson Hole
Dining in Jackson Wyoming – get reservations online or call
Kampai – This is a must see: best Nigiri and Sashimi in the country; it is fresh off the plane from Japan. The ambience is serene & modern; and you must check out the rooftop. The level of detail at creating this place is exquisite; clean lines & ambient lighting; notice the glassware and plates. Sake in handmade pottery, a Bonsai in the center stage. You are paying for the full sensual experience, the tastes of unique flavor in each bite, the visual appeal, the client service ~ best restaurant in the valley.
Figs – This is my favorite restaurant, located inside Hotel JH it’s true Mediterranean cuisine, straight out of Lebanon SO AMAZING a must see if you like middle eastern food – best in the country and possibly the world, due to its true authenticity.
Bin22 – Here is a great locals spot, we go for ladies nights with the neighbors. The spanish salad is my favorite around, the flavors are superb. I like the bruschetta too. Wine is fresh and amazing flavors; pick up a unique bottle from the bin on your way out. Perfect!
Roadhouse – I go to this restaurant for sports games, great spot and amazing menu, good prices
Calico – Located on the Westbank – Teton Village Road (so stop by after skiing) cheaper American – Italian Bistro (pizza & salads) great for families; the kids run around on the yard in between Calico and Westbank Sidewinders.
King Sushi – The best sushi rolls are at King Sushi; the chef combines all sorts of flavors, sauces, ingredients and cooks the roll to perfection. Cocktail menu looks fabulous too. It’s a local favorite, so go early to get a seat, or make a reservation; as the space is a tiny log cabin with an outdoor patio – so fun!
Teton Tiger – This restaurant offers a taste of Thai. The bar atmosphere is fun and young. I love the cocktail menu. We’ve been going here for after dinner drinks lately.
Eleanors – Certainly, a true local’s spot, you may not even find this place; it’s tucked in behind a liquor store in a strip mall. Perfect! Enjoy all the sports with your friends. My favorite is the butternut squash salad, so good! Excellent prices.
Glorietta – Excellent freshly created food, all of my friends from Park City always eat at this restaurant when they come. American Bistro mixed with Italian pastas and things; I absolutely love the cocktails in antique tea cups and the quality of meals
Coe Tavern – Accordingly has a rooftop bar in the summers; cocktails are good and apps are fried; sports bar for the guys – it’s a good restaurant to bring your husband to.
Noodle Kitchen – Basically has the best happy hour on Friday nights, so fun! Excellent prices.
Lunch Spots:
Dornans – Altogether the best place to rest after a full day in Grand Teton National Park or on your way back from Yellowstone. Have lunch on the rooftop with views overlooking the park.
Wildlife Museum – Another great lunch spot after a full day and on your way back to town is the national wildlife museum. Great food and atmosphere.
Sidewinders – We haven’t been to the Westbank franchise yet, but the restaurant in town off Broadway is awesome and the kids LOVE the arcade. We just had my daughter’s birthday party here with 34 girls in the old cigar bar. It’s reasonably priced; perfect for families.
The Bistro – Also excellent for families and for lunch, we bring our friends here with kids – there is a rooftop as well in the summers. Afterwards, we’ve been known to grab a cocktail at the bar and head to the lobby to enjoy. Good prices.
Local – This is an excellent happy hour stop before dinner, great drinks and good food, reasonably priced
Brew Pub – Another super fun spot for kids, they love the arcade and the games outdoors during the summer. Dine inside or outside.
Dining at Teton Village:
Corsa is my favorite, ask for the bar manager “Shawn”.
Off Piste at the top of the Gondola has the best Prosecco.
Il Villaggio Osteria, Westbank Grill, The Handle Bar
Mangy Moose has the best night life for young people as well as an amazing apres ski atmosphere.
Don’t forget the Stagecoach (“The Coach”) Bar on the way home – in Wilson; everyone ends up there at some point. Thursdays Disco Night, Sundays line dancing and live music.
Start with Breakfast in Jackson Wyoming:
MUST see Persephone. There is one in town (smaller) and one on the Westbank at the Aspens. This is my favorite breakfast / coffee place; it’s a high-mountain French Bakery.
The Juicery is my absolute favorite spot around; it is the healthiest location around https://www.hbcafeandjuicery.com/ this is right next to Persephone.
Picnic (also owned by Persephone) has a great coffee spot to meet local friends at.
Snake River Roasters has best coffee, it tastes like chocolate!
Café Genevieve has excellent diner breakfast food as well (right next door to Persephone in town).
Nora’s Fish Creek Inn in Wilson Wyoming is a must for historical setting and diner breakfast. Juevos Rancheros are famous here. If you go early enough, you’ll see the old local’s chatting at the breakfast bar in the center of the inn.
Conclude with Late Night: Girls Night! or Guys Night too
The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar (Live Music, Dancing, Pool Tables & Drinks!), The Rose (late night), Stagecoach Bar (disco & dancing), Mangy Moose
The Start Bus runs all routes, you can take the bus out to Teton Village, Wilson, and back to town. Check here for schedules.
Cheers!
This list came about due to friends visiting and requesting information, so I’m happy to direct visitors to the blog and detail all the local info in one place. This is exciting progress for me! See above for my current restaurant recommendations when visiting Jackson, Wyoming or Grand Teton National Park & Yellowstone. This is just updated as of June 2025. It’s a work in progress, so I will continue to update as I have the time and try new places. Above all, we want you to have the best experience “like a local” when you visit. Thanks! Melanie
